To get the most out of the interactive map, we highly suggest you first review this two page Help Guide (pdf). But in case you don't..the most important thing to remember is on the left hand side of your map screen, you can view sites by clicking on the drop down folders and click on the box next to the sites you are interested in; to find out more information about a site- the site needs to be "active"- to do this click on the circle next to the site you would like to know more about and use the tools at the bottom of your screen to learn more.

The online, interactive Greater Columbus Green Map debuted December 2nd 2005. This tool was developed to strengthen the community's awareness of and connection to our local urban ecology, to enable sustainable life-style choices and to easily locate community services. The Greater Columbus Green Map was developed by Mid Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) under the leadership of the Green Map Systems Inc. and with the support of the Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio (SWACO), the cities of Columbus, Dublin, Grove City, Hilliard, Reynoldsburg, Upper Arlington, Westerville- Electric Division and the Village of New Albany.

Remember, we want your feedback! Please feel free to fill out the online Site Nomination Form or Site Correction Form to make comments or just email us at emiller@morpc.org.
